I am a second-year graduate student in economics at the University of California, San Diego. As of now, my prospective area of interest is applied microeconomic theory.
Prior to moving out west, I studied economics at Emory University, with a study-abroad year at the London School of Economics. In between, I lived and worked in Washington, DC for four years, mostly working on government regulation and federal tax policy.
Here are some papers on aspects of economic methodology:
Economic Models, Journal of Philosophy 75:11 (1978), by Gibbard A and Varian HR
The Computational Experiment: An Econometric Tool, Journal of Economic Perspectives 10:1 (1996), by Kydland FE and Prescott EC
Do We Really Know What Makes Us Healthy?, New York Times, September 16, 2007, by Taubes, G
