I received my Ph.D. in Economics from UC San Diego in Spring 2007. The title of my dissertation is "Contracting with Reading Costs and Renegotiation Costs." Currently, I am working on characterizing reading investments buyers make when evaluating competing sellers' standard form contracts and using this analysis to help explain efficiency of various existing regulations and doctrines of contract law. The framework is also applicable to mortgage contracting.

My research areas are contract theory, applied game theory, and law and economics.
